Yokohama Rubber’s tires coming factory-equipped on the Suzuki Wagon R

　　Hiratsuka, Japan—The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., announced that it is supplying its BluEarth-Es ES32 tires as original equipment (OE) to Suzuki Motor Corporation for use on the automaker’s mini-vehicle, Wagon R, which was launched in Japan in December 2025 after undergoing a minor model change. The Wagon R is being equipped with 165/55R15 75V size tires.

　　The BluEarth-Es ES32 is a standard tire from the BluEarth YOKOHAMA global tire brand based on the concept of being “environmentally, human, and socially friendly.” In addition to its excellent fuel efficiency, it also achieves a long tire life by suppressing uneven wear. The tires being supplied as OE for the Wagon R feature tread patterns and compounds that achieve both a higher level of low rolling resistance and wear resistance.

　　The Wagon R has updated safety features, such as Suzuki’s Dual Sensor Brake Support II, an automatic collision-damage-mitigation braking system. In addition to a comfortable and quiet ride, the updated Wagon R delivers highly stable steering and has a high-quality exterior design.

　　Yokohama Rubber is aggressively developing tires employing its leading-edge BluEarth tire technology, and many of these tires are now coming factory-equipped on gasoline-powered vehicles, hybrid cars and EVs such as a wide variety of new car models, including the latest-model sedans, SUVs, sports cars, and compact cars.
